Burtch Works is seeking a Senior / Distinguished Architect for AI Systems and Agentic AI to lead hands-on system design and prototyping across the company’s platform. You will work directly with AI leadership and cross-functional teams to advance enterprise AI capabilities.

The role emphasizes deep technical expertise across AI generations, from traditional ML to foundation models, with a focus on safe, scalable, and observable systems.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of deep software engineering experience designing, building and scaling enterprise platforms.
• Strong foundation in ML/DL, foundation models, agents and AI systems.
• Deep technical capability with practical impact beyond publications.

Responsibilities

• Architect AI systems and agentic infrastructure for enterprise platforms.
• Lead integration of AI models with enterprise data and semantic layers.
• Advance time-series, embeddings, anomaly detection, probabilistic modeling, and causal inference.
• Create reusable abstractions and patterns for safe, high-performing AI solutions.
• Establish rigorous evaluation, benchmarking, and ROI-focused validation.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, data, and field teams across the company.
• Maintain hands-on coding, prototyping and experiments while guiding teams.
