Burtch Works is seeking a Director of AI Strategy + Adoption to lead enterprise AI opportunities, align business needs with data/engineering resources, and drive measurable value across departments. This is a transformation role focused on process redesign and change management, not hands-on development.

The ideal candidate combines management consulting rigor with execution discipline, capable of turning ambiguous opportunities into structured plans and successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, Finance, or related discipline.
• MBA or other advanced degree is a plus but not required.
• 7–12 years of experience across management consulting, business transformation, digital transformation, product management, program management, innovation, or related disciplines.
• Experience leading cross-functional transformation initiatives from problem definition and process discovery through implementation and measurable results.
• Hands-on experience with process mapping, workflow redesign, project/program orchestration, roadmap development, and ROI evaluation.
• Experience coordinating stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, or consulting partners to implement technology-enabled change.
• Hands-on individual contributor or small team leadership; not a large-team management role.
• Formal AI experience not required but experimentation with generative AI and tools is expected.

Responsabilités

• Own the enterprise pipeline of AI opportunities and prioritize use cases by business impact and ROI.
• Partner with functional leaders to redesign processes for AI capabilities.
• Translate challenges into strategies, roadmaps, project plans, and success measures.
• Lead cross-functional AI initiatives from discovery to adoption and measurement.
• Bridge between business teams and Data/Engineering resources or external partners to keep initiatives moving.
• Develop an internal AI ambassador model to drive practical adoption across departments.
• Create training and change-management programs to increase AI fluency.
• Establish KPIs and ROI frameworks; report on initiatives, value, risks, and investments.
• Stay connected to evolving AI tools and evaluate applicability to the business.
• Coordinate internal teams, external consultants, vendors to move priorities from concept to value.
