Job summary

Point Digital Finance, Inc. is hiring a Technical Lead Manager to direct a senior team building AI-powered customer experiences for homeowners. You will stay hands-on, shape technical direction, and coordinate with Product, Ops, and CX to ship scalable AI agents.

You will define strategy, contribute code, review PRs, and ensure reliable production systems with strong observability. A strong preference for experience with LLMs and agent architectures.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience building and operating production systems.
• Proven experience developing and shipping LLM-powered, conversational AI, or agentic systems.
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams (Product, Operations, CX) to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Deep systems design expertise for reliable, observable, real-time services.
• Hands-on leadership with architecture decisions and high-quality execution.
• Experience driving AI-driven customer experiences aligned with business goals.

Responsibilities

• Define the AI technical strategy for CX, including evaluating frameworks and vendor solutions.
• Own the technical roadmap for Point’s AI-powered customer experience across voice, email, chat, and SMS agents.
• Write code with the team, review PRs, prototype agent capabilities, and debug production issues.
• Partner with Product, CX, and Ops to identify where AI can replace or augment workflows and ship it.
• Establish success metrics for agent performance and prioritize the roadmap using data.
• Design reliable agent architectures and guardrails for production-scale operations.
• Lead and grow a small, senior engineering team with high expectations and clear blockers.
• Drive observability and reliability across the AI stack, leveraging Langfuse.
