Job summary

Sharecare is seeking an AI Engineer to drive the transformation into the era of agentic engineering, shaping strategy, architecture, and delivery of AI systems across the platform.

The role focuses on shipping high-volume AI agent workflows, building scalable factory and data pipelines with governance and security baked in. 4+ years of software engineering or architectures required, plus experience with LLMs, cloud platforms, and MLOps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (CS/AI/Data Science/SE).
• 4+ years of software engineering or systems architecture experience.
• Experience with large language models (LLMs), generative AI platforms, and NLP tools.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with model deployment, MLOps, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain AI and ML solutions to support business needs.
• Build and optimize ML models, analytics solutions, and automated tools.
• Develop generative AI applications using LLMs, RAG, and conversational AI tech.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into AI-driven solutions.
• Integrate AI models into enterprise apps and workflows.
• Develop data pipelines for training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
• Evaluate new AI technologies to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Monitor model performance and manage retraining and lifecycle processes.
• Ensure AI solutions meet security, privacy, compliance, and governance standards.
• Collaborate with cloud and infra teams to deploy and scale AI in cloud environments.
• Create technical docs, architecture diagrams, and SOPs for AI systems.
• Support governance initiatives including explainability and responsible AI practices.
• Troubleshoot AI models, integrations, and production environments.
• Participate in code reviews and architectural planning.
• Provide technical leadership on AI best practices and strategies.
• Stay current with AI, ML, and data science advancements.
