Job summary

KittySpout is a profitable DTC pet brand operating on Shopify, Amazon, and Chewy, fully remote. We seek an experienced Web Designer with 5+ years building ecommerce sites who can elevate our current branding while maintaining conversion-focused design.

You'll deliver a full revamp, create a Figma design system for both brands, and hand over assets to the web team and CRO lead. This freelance role offers 40–80 hours over 4–8 weeks with ongoing design work.

Qualifications

• Fully remote freelance, ongoing (first project 40–80 hours over 4–8 weeks).
• Fluent in English.
• Experience: 5+ years designing websites.
• Portfolio: live ecommerce sites (ideally Shopify) showing taste and creativity.
• AI-first design: using AI tools daily to explore directions and speed up delivery.

Responsibilities

• Review brand guidelines and competitors; present 2–3 directions per brand in two weeks.
• Build the web design system in Figma for both brands, mobile-first.
• Design 8–10 signature sections per brand for mobile and desktop.
• Ensure conversion-focused design; launch major sections as split tests with CRO Lead.
• Deliver clean Figma files and usage rules to enable AI extension after handover.
