Job summary

Pavago is seeking an AI-Augmented QA Engineer to own and expand automated testing for a fast-moving security platform. You will collaborate with frontend and backend engineers to build reliable test coverage and strengthen the Playwright test suite.

This hands-on role emphasizes independence and proactive improvement, with clear goals around coverage, reliability, and AI-assisted testing workflows. Remote work during U.S. business hours is supported.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of QA, software testing, or test automation experience preferred.
• Strong TypeScript skills and the ability to write clean, maintainable test code.
• Hands‑on experience with Playwright, Cypress, or a similar E2E testing framework.
• Strong understanding of web application testing and DOM interaction.
• Willingness to learn and use AI tools as part of the testing workflow.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain automated end-to-end tests using Playwright.
• Expand coverage across critical product workflows.
• Build regression tests that run automatically on every pull request.
• Test workflows including dashboards, detection workflows, device management, user permissions, and settings.
• Own the reliability of the automated test suite and CI pipeline.
