BairesDev is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to own the QA domain while providing first-line customer support in US time zones. You will build and maintain advanced automated test suites with Playwright, analyze root causes, and patch issues directly on git branches.

The role blends automation with customer interaction in a fast-moving startup environment. Candidates should have 3+ years in QA automation, strong Playwright skills, and experience with Claude Code or AI-assisted tools.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in QA automation.
• Strong proficiency in Playwright.
• Experience with Claude Code or AI-assisted development tools.
• Strong communication skills for customer-facing support.
• Availability to work in US time zones.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain advanced automated test suites using Playwright.
• Manage the entire QA domain, including root cause analysis and bug reporting.
• Handle first-line customer support via Intercom during US time zones.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate testing workflows.
• Patch minor issues directly on git branches for core team review.
• Interact with agentic QA tools to improve testing coverage and efficiency.
