Job summary

Pavago is hiring a senior QA Automation Engineer to own and extend the test automation framework. This remote role focuses on Playwright, TypeScript, and end-to-end testing to improve release confidence and catch issues before production.

You will work with frontend and backend engineers, reduce flaky tests, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines while exploring AI-assisted testing workflows to boost coverage and reliability.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and hands-on Playwright experience.
• Proven experience building and maintaining E2E automation frameworks.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain end-to-end automated tests using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Expand automation coverage across user journeys and product workflows.
• Improve framework maintainability, scalability, reliability, and speed.
• Identify flaky tests and reduce false positives.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with frontend and backend engineers on testability and release readiness.
• Leverage AI-assisted testing workflows to improve coverage.
