Airbnb, Inc. is seeking an Operations Engineer to apply AI at the forefront of BizTech's operational health.

You will implement LLM-powered triage, intelligent automation, and self-healing observability to reduce ticket backlogs and improve MTTR with AI-driven insights. Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with observability and metrics tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
• 3+ years working with data querying and pipelines (SQL, Airflow, Trino, SQS).
• Working knowledge of network fundamentals and hardware (Cisco, Palo Alto).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Hands-on CI/CD and automation tooling across AWS, GCP, or Oracle Cloud (Jenkins, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions).
• Comfort operating in Jira and Confluence-driven environments; experience with Salesforce/Workday and Okta is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the ticket queue prioritizing and resolving requests and identify recurring categories for automation.
• Participate in rotating on-call and incident response schedules, troubleshooting and documenting issues in real time.
• Build and maintain monitoring dashboards (Tableau, Superset, Grafana) to track service health and data quality.
• Use AI-assisted tools to speed up triage, root-cause analysis, scripting, and documentation.
• Partner with global stakeholder teams to drive issues to resolution.
