Job summary

JD Power seeks an AI Experience Engineer to own the complete human-facing layer of AI-powered systems, from data model through backend service to a polished interface. You will build observable, trusted interactions that let engineers review traces and intervene when needed, without bottlenecks.

You will shape a scalable design system for AI assistants and copilots, champion WCAG and accessibility, and collaborate with the Innovation Crew to ship production-ready components and dashboards.

Qualifications

• Full-stack engineering with frontend depth and production-quality interfaces.
• Production experience with AI-powered systems, including observability and auditability of outputs.
• React and modern design systems, with ability to design and implement UX in code.

Responsibilities

• Own the full-stack design and engineering quality for pilots and prototypes across backend services and polished interfaces.
• Build human-on-the-loop interaction patterns for inspecting agent traces, auditing outputs, and surfacing anomalies.
• Develop and maintain a shared design system and component library for AI-facing outputs.
