Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with AI-enabled systems.
• Strong hands-on experience with React and Node.js/TypeScript and REST APIs.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, OpenAI Codex, Claude Code).
• Experience with AWS data and messaging services for event-driven architectures.
• Proven TDD and automated testing discipline.
• Experience implementing CI/CD, containers, and DevOps practices.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and build event-driven, data-intensive backend services in Node.js/TypeScript.
• Decompose AI workflows into microservices with clear boundaries and data ownership.
• Promote test-driven development across the team with strong test coverage.
• Develop AI pipelines processing structured and unstructured data.
• Design cloud-native architectures and distributed systems for AI workloads.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements to deployable solutions.
• Take on additional tasks to support project success.
