Job summary

EDB is seeking a Program Manager II to align global engineering teams, manage a portfolio of technical programs, and support the CTO and Chief of Staff Office as the organization scales. This role emphasizes data-driven governance, reporting, and executive-level communication.

You will report to a Senior Engineering Director in the Chief of Staff/PMO team, driving planning cycles, governance processes, and executive communications with an eye toward AI-enabled workflow improvements for daily

Qualifications

• Experience managing technical programs in a software engineering environment.
• Knowledge of software development cycles, including sprints and releases.
• Demonstrated data fluency, including defining metrics and surfacing risks.
• Ability to collaborate with global engineering teams and cross-functional partners.
• Strong problem-solving and independent decision-making.
• Clear sense of when to elevate, with follow-up with senior leaders.
• Experience delivering executive presentations and reporting, including AI-assisted workflows.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of technical programs aligned with priorities and deliver outcomes.
• Own the full cadence for your programs, including tracking, status and risk logs, escalating blockers with a clear recommendation.
• Build and maintain executive-ready reports and dashboards on delivery, spend, support metrics and engineering velocity.
• Lead and facilitate alignment across global engineering teams and senior leaders, driving clarity in strategic requirements and plans.
• Communicate ideas persuasively to influence team decisions and program outcomes.
