UpGuard is seeking a dynamic Customer Sales Engineer to be the primary technical expert for the Account Management team. You will support renewal and upsell efforts, acting as the go-to product authority and driving value for existing customers across a multi-product platform.

The role fits a post-sales, technical environment with a focus on expanding customer deployments and delivering measurable security posture improvements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a customer-facing post-sales technical role, renewals-focused preferred.
• Commercial-driven environment; partner closely with sales and success teams.
• Cybersecurity/GRC landscape knowledge (e.g., ServiceNow; SIEM like Splunk).
• Passion for becoming a deep subject matter expert on a complex software platform.

Responsibilities

• Drive product activation during the renewal and expansion cycle with excellent customer experience.
• Support customers during trials/POCs of the platform.
• Identify existing customer pain points during trials/POCs and define goals and requirements.
• Be the technical point of contact for any support queries during renewal and expansion cycle.
• Assist with customer security assessments, RFPs, and business cases as required.
• Collaborate with the team to improve the trial/POC experience by developing insights and solutions.
