Job summary

LatchBio is seeking an AI Biologist - Genetic Medicines to advance the evaluation of AI agents across gene therapy, gene editing, and RNA therapeutics development. You will join a cross-disciplinary team building datasets and agent tasks spanning target validation to IND-enabling studies.

You will interpret complex on-/off-target data, review safety findings, and help set dose rationale while working in a fast-paced, transparent environment where original expert judgment is valued over AI output

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a biomedical field or equivalent industry experience.
• 3+ years in gene therapy, gene editing, or RNA therapeutics discovery or development.
• Direct experience with drug design, screening, or IND-enabling study design.

Responsibilities

• Design and evaluate AI-driven programs for genetic medicines development.
• Review and stress-test agent outputs for scientific soundness.
• Calibrate AI agent confidence on preclinical data with incomplete signals.
• Reconstruct program go/no-go decisions from multi-source data.
