Job summary

World Wide Technology is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager for AI Advanced Development. You will lead a small, focused team to address AI questions at speed, balancing hands-on work with team leadership.

You will present decisive findings directly to executives and guide faster decision cycles in a dynamic environment. The role requires building AI-native applications, evaluating complex models, and hiring senior engineers who share a bias for action.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience building AI-native applications (LLMs, agents, retrieval, eval harnesses).
• Experience leading senior engineers and hiring for technical leadership roles.
• Ability to distill ambiguous findings into clear, data-driven recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Turn executive asks into scoped, time-boxed investigations with defensible recommendations.
• Run experiments to a decision within weeks, avoiding over-polish.
• Hire and coach Applied AI Engineers, and stay hands-on in coding and evaluation.
• Present findings to executive leadership with clear rationale and uncertainty.
• Collaborate with platform, product, security, and data teams from early stages.
