Job summary

BigIron is hiring a full-time Equipment Sales Representative to support customers in the agriculture industry by selling BigIron’s online auction services. You will manage an assigned local territory, develop customer relationships, and guide customers through the auction process from start to finish.

In this role, you will travel within your territory, conduct in-person visits, and work from a home-based office when not meeting customers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales, territory management, or customer-facing business development experience.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to travel regularly within the territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with farmers, ranchers, landowners, equipment dealers, and local ag businesses.
• Prospect for new business through in-person visits, referrals, networking, and phone outreach.
• Meet with customers on farms, at shops, and throughout your territory.
• Evaluate equipment and discuss auction timing, pricing strategy, and selling options.
• Secure consignment agreements for upcoming auctions.
• Coordinate with internal teams to prepare equipment for sale.
• Support customers throughout the auction process and after the sale.
• Manage and grow revenue within your territory.
