Job summary

Eliassen Group seeks a Lead Agilist to coach Agile squads and promote Scrum within a financial services client. You will facilitate Scrum events, guide product owners and teams in backlog management, and drive continuous improvement through empirical decision-making and metrics.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-time business experience.
• 3+ years Scrum experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to remove impediments outside of the team.
• Coaching skills with the ability to convey complex messages and teach new concepts.

Responsibilities

• Coach Agile Squads on Agile and Scrum values, principles, and practices.
• Facilitate Scrum events and ensure value from Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Retrospective, and Backlog Refinement.
• Guide Product Owners and Development Teams in effective backlog management and clarity of outcomes.
• Promote self-organization, continuous improvement, cross-functionality, and software craftsmanship.
• Identify and help remove impediments, escalating when necessary to appropriate entities.
• Shield teams from external interference to maintain productivity.
• Foster a safe, trusting environment for open discussion and collaborative problem solving.
