Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an AI-forward engineer to embed with program teams, map real workflows, and design agentic AI that integrates with existing tools. You will produce roadmaps, build AI agents, and instrument systems to prove value in hours saved and risk reduced.

You’ll also drive adoption, train staff, and turn lessons into reusable playbooks for widespread impact across complex programs.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of experience in software or ML engineering, advisory, or solutions engineering.
• 2+ years building apps with generative and agentic AI technologies (LLMs, RAG, MCP, or multi-agent orchestration).
• Production deployment of an LLM-powered system or AI agent with eval, monitoring and iteration.
• Production code in Python or TypeScript.
• Experience eliciting requirements from customers and guiding tech adoption.
• Knowledge of evaluation techniques for non-deterministic systems (gold datasets, regression tests, human-in-the-loop).
• Ability to operate independently in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and communicate to engineers and execs.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree.

Aufgaben

• Embed with program teams to observe and document workflows, data flows, and decision points.
• Produce operating maps and automation roadmaps prioritizing high-volume workflows by value and risk.
• Design, build, and deploy AI agents that reason, plan, and act across tools, APIs, and data sources.
• Build on existing systems rather than forcing migrations.
• Develop evaluation frameworks and regression tests to capture agent performance and improvements.
• Instrument auditing, monitoring, and metrics to show value in hours saved and risk reduced.
• Drive adoption and change management, train workforce, and redesign roles around supervision of automation.
• Codify learnings into playbooks and reusable components for the Disruption Cell.
