Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an Agentic AI Engineer to design and build AI agents, APIs, and dashboards that support mission workflows and secure data use.

You will work across AI engineering, software, data integration, and cloud technologies to move capabilities from prototype to production while ensuring security and maintainability. Eligible candidates hold TS/SCI and a Bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, application development, or AI/ML engineering.
• Experience building production-grade AI agents or AI-enabled apps with orchestration and state management.
• Experience integrating data with LLMs using RAG and MCP.
• Experience working with geospatial data: raster/vector, metadata, spatial context.
• Experience with Python, SQL, R, and RESTful API development and ML frameworks.
• Experience developing Node.js apps or dashboards connected to Oracle DB and collaborating with DB engineers.
• Experience using OpenAI Codex or similar AI-assisted development tools with secure practices.
• Active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to take a polygraph; Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support production-grade AI agents and AI-enabled apps.
• Build agent architectures with orchestration, tool use, state management, error handling, observability.
• Integrate mission data with LLMs using RAG and secure tool access.
• Develop Python, SQL, R, and RESTful services and Node.js dashboards connected to Oracle DB.
