Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is looking for an Agentic AI Engineer & Technical Manager to lead hands-on technical work from design through production delivery. You will direct AI agent architectures, data integration with large language models, and secure tool access while guiding a multi-disciplinary team across cloud, data, and security disciplines.

You will mentor developers, review technical work, and ensure delivery aligns with mission priorities.

Qualifications

10+ years in software engineering or AI/ML engineering.
Experience designing and deploying production-grade AI agents or AI-enabled apps.
Lead technical designs for agentic AI capabilities with orchestration and observability.
Experience integrating data with LLMs via RAG and MCP.
Geospatial data experience including raster/vector data and analytics.
Proficient in Python, SQL, R, and RESTful API development.
Experience with ML frameworks/AutoML and notebook workflows.
Developing Node.js apps connected to Oracle Database; mentoring teams; using AI tools like Codex.
Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to polygraph.
Bachelor’s degree

Responsibilities

Lead technical design, development, testing, deployment, and sustainment of AI agents and AI-enabled apps.
Define architectures with orchestration, tools, state management, evaluation and observability.
Integrate mission and enterprise data with LLMs using RAG, MCP, and secure tool access.
Guide development of Node.js apps and dashboards that securely access Oracle Database data.
Oversee integration of geospatial intelligence data and analytics.
Establish engineering practices and review products; mentor developers.
Coordinate delivery across mission, data, cloud, security, DB, and stakeholders.
