Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton seeks an Agentic AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy autonomous AI agents capable of using tools, interfacing with software systems, and handling multi-step tasks across distributed environments.

You will architect agent memory, decision-making, and orchestration, integrate tools and APIs, and implement evaluation and monitoring to ensure reliable, mission-aligned behavior. TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing Python software systems.
• Experience building AI agents or multi-step LLM workflows.
• Experience integrating tools, APIs, or external services.
• Experience implementing inference request flows, including latency considerations.
• Experience writing integration tests for multi-service systems.
• Knowledge of containerization and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy agentic AI systems for complex, multi-tool workflows.
• Define architectures, memory systems, and orchestration flows for reliable operation.
• Integrate new and existing tools and implement evaluation/monitoring for safe behavior.
• Collaborate across engineering teams to deliver scalable, production-ready solutions.
