Job summary

Curana Health, Inc. is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for our National After-Hours Call Team. This work-from-home role provides telehealth care to aging residents across multiple states, delivering after-hours clinical direction by phone and coordinating with facilities, hospitals, and clinics.

The position requires a Master's NP, multi-state licenses, ANP/FNP/GNP certification, DEA, and at least 3 years of NP experience, with shifts evenings, overnights, and some weekends.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Current unrestricted NP license in two of IA, MO, KS, or OH; multi-state licenses possible.
• NP national certification as ANP, FNP, or GNP.
• DEA licensure / Prescriptive Authority.
• Clinical background in adult, family, or geriatrics.
• 3+ years of NP experience.
• Ability to work scheduled shifts per scheduling policies.
• Proficient with documenting medical information in EMR.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first line of after-hours support for residents and facility staff over the phone.
• Coordinate care between facilities, hospitals, and clinics via Curana’s telephonic platform.
• Deliver high-quality, cost-effective care addressing acute, chronic, and behavioral health needs with physicians.
• Document encounters accurately in the EMR, ensuring CMS compliance.
• Apply Curana’s clinical protocols and guidelines to support safe treatment.
• Participate in mandatory education and training to stay current with standards of care.
