Job summary

Broetje Automation-USA is seeking a Sales Applications Engineer to lead North American sales for aerospace manufacturing automation. The role is remote with up to 100% travel and requires proximity to an international airport.

You will report to the CEO, source new clients, and develop relationships with decision-makers throughout the sales cycle. The position offers competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits for a global team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, manufacturing, or electrical engineering.
• 7+ years in a customer-facing role, ideally in aerospace.
• Experience with automated systems and manufacturing tools is a plus.
• Willing to travel up to 100% and hold a US passport.
• Strong sales, communication, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as forward-facing sales personnel to achieve North American sales targets.
• Become technically proficient in current and future product offerings (drilling, fastening, composites).
• Source leads and develop relationships with decision makers.
• Qualify potential customers for genuine need and ability to purchase proposed solutions.
• Travel to customer sites for sales and proposal meetings and to ensure world-class service.
• Lead in development of sales proposals and customer presentations.
• Identify future markets and derivative products to expand offerings.
