Job summary

Ventus Executive Solutions is seeking a skilled Advanced Reactor Systems Engineer to support cutting-edge advanced nuclear and mobile microreactor programs for a DoD program office. You will serve as the primary technical interface for vendor-proposed designs, developing familiarity with assigned systems and providing clear, actionable assessments to government leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering management, or related technical field.
• Significant professional experience in nuclear power systems or advanced reactor programs.
• Demonstrated systems engineering and/or technical program management experience.
• Experience interfacing with vendors, government leadership, and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical interface for vendor-proposed microreactor designs.
• Perform hands-on systems engineering, program management, and design integration.
• Manage requirements, safety evaluation, and technical risk assessment.
• Coordinate with government organizations, industry partners, and vendors.
• Oversee vendors and track program performance to maintain momentum.
