Ventus Executive Solutions is seeking askilled Advanced Reactor Systems Engineer to support cutting-edge advanced nuclear and mobile microreactor programs for an innovative program office. You will serve as a primary technical interface for vendor-proposed microreactor and advanced reactor designs, developing detailed familiarity with assigned systems and providing clear, actionable technical assessments and recommendations to government leadership. This position combines hands‑on systems engineering, technical program management, design integration, requirements management, safety evaluation, technical risk assessment, and vendor oversight in support of first‑of‑a‑kind (FOAK) reactor programs.
You will be a self‑starter who can take complex and ambiguous technical challenges from identification through resolution with limited supervision. You will coordinate across government organizations, external subject-matter experts, reactor design companies, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues, manage interfaces, track program performance, and maintain program momentum. This position offers an opportunity to directly contribute to nationally significant advanced energy and defense initiatives.
