Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our Virtual Care Now team. The APP will deliver virtual urgent and primary care and operate independently following established procedures, referring questionable cases to a physician as needed.

Hours are M-F 7a-11p and Sat/Sun 10a-8p. This full-time, virtual role requires 3 years APP experience, CDS/DEA, BLS, and a Master’s degree, with RN/NP/PA licensure as applicable.

Qualifications

• 3 years of APP experience.
• CDS and DEA certificates.
• BLS certification.
• Master's Degree required.

Responsibilities

• Record progress notes, issue diagnostic orders, and transcribe orders.
• Assist with counseling and education functions.
• Billing for patient services per CMS and NJ State Board regulations.
• Develop plan of care with multidisciplinary team and report to physicians and family.
• Coordinate nursing and training programs to comply with HIPAA, OSHA, and Code of Conduct.
