Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Holdings is seeking an Advance Reporting and Facilities Manager to oversee the reconciling and reporting of advance and recovery activity for the servicing portfolio, with a remote work from home option.

You will lead the team, develop policies, build new reporting, and ensure compliance with investor guidelines and laws. Candidates should have 3+ years in mortgage servicing, a finance-related degree, and strong SQL/Access skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
• 3+ years in Mortgage Servicing or lending finance.
• 3+ years mortgage servicing software experience.
• Strong Access and SQL skills.
• Experience supervising staff preferred.
• Strong knowledge of conventional and government reconciliation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Carry out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies, procedures, and applicable laws, including hiring and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; monitoring performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints; and resolving problems.
• Develop and implement Policies and Procedures for compliance to adhere to current investor and/or regulatory requirements.
• Conduct a quality review on all department reports to ensure accuracy.
• Obtain business reporting needs and design, build, and implement new reporting as needed.
• Identify areas where processes and procedures can be streamlined, improved, and implemented.
• Review account reconciliation prepared each month by the Analyst to ensure they are comprehensive and in compliance with investor and company guidelines.
• Review and approve the reconciliation of cash and non-cash recovery activity of Principal and Interest (“PI”), Corporate, and Escrow advances, completed by staff members of the department.
• Prepare and/or process advance facility funding and repay requests for the more complex customers as needed.
• Act aa a point of contact for both internal and external requests regarding Servicing advance facilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
