Job summary

Willis Towers Watson is seeking an actuarial intern to contribute to retirement valuation work and special projects. You will join the Actuarial Delivery Group with a focus on data analysis, government filings, and client team collaboration.

The role offers exposure to Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution plans, with a robust training program and opportunities to learn valuation processes and reporting tools in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics or similar, GPA ≥ 3.0.
• Not pursuing actuarial exams during internship.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in training sessions and actively engage in project work.
• Assist with actuarial valuations and prepare valuation reports.
• Analyze pension data and reconcile plan participant information.
• Perform pension benefit calculations using established spreadsheets or systems.
• Prepare government reporting forms and annual employee benefit statements.
• Support ad hoc projects as needed and ensure timely delivery.
