Job summary

Willis Towers Watson invites an actuarial intern to contribute to retirement valuation projects and special initiatives within the ADG. You will learn retirement plan actuarial work, use cutting-edge tools, and participate in a robust intern training program.

Responsibilities include valuations, data reconciliations, pension benefit calculations, and government forms. The role offers a flexible work arrangement (remote/hybrid) with a strong learning trajectory and internship pathways.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree with a minimum overall GPA of 3.0
• Successful completion of one or more actuarial exams highly preferred
• Work experience that demonstrates strong technical and/or client service skills
• Passion for solving problems and sharing solutions to exceed client standards
• Ability to be a self-starter and work independently, but also cooperatively in a team
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Available to graduate between Dec 2027 and Aug 2028
• Able to work legally in the United States indefinitely without Visa sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Participating in training sessions
• Performing actuarial valuations and preparing valuation reports
• Performing data analysis and reconciliations of pension plan participant data
• Performing pension benefit calculations using established spreadsheets or our plan administration system
• Preparing government reporting forms and annual employee benefit statements
• Supporting special projects as needed
• Ensuring projects are completed on time and meet quality standards
• Responding to requests and communications effectively and efficiently
