Job summary

Willis Towers Watson is offering an internship within the Actuarial Delivery Group (ADG) in the United States. You will participate in retirement valuation projects, learn about pension plans, and gain exposure to government filings and plan administration systems.

The program emphasizes hands-on training, collaboration with client teams, and exposure to cutting-edge actuarial tools. Applicants should be graduating Dec 2027–Aug 2028 and be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree with quantitative coursework and GPA 3.0
• Successful completion of one or more actuarial exams highly preferred
• Work experience demonstrating strong technical and/or client service skills
• Ability to work independently and in a close team environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Graduation between December 2027 and August 2028
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Participating and actively engaging in training sessions
• Performing actuarial valuations and preparing valuation reports
• Performing data analysis and reconciliations of pension plan participant data
• Performing pension benefit calculations using established spreadsheets or our proprietary plan administration system
• Preparing government reporting forms and annual employee benefit statements
• Supporting special projects as ad-hoc needs arise
• Working with other colleagues to ensure that each project is completed on time and meets quality standards
• Responding to all requests and communications effectively and efficiently
