Job summary

Work At Home Vintage Experts LLC is seeking an experienced Actuarial Analyst to support pricing studies for commercial lines with remote, long-term assignments. You will analyze data and market trends to assess profitability and collaborate with underwriting, product management, and finance teams.

The role requires a strong actuarial background, advanced analytics, and proficiency with SAS/SQL/Python. Remote nationwide work is offered with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 25 years of full-time work experience
• 10 most current years of actuarial experience with commercial lines pricing in the Property & Casualty sector
• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, economics, statistics, or related major

Responsibilities

• Assist with pricing studies to evaluate profitability of insurance products.
• Perform competitor analysis to monitor pricing and product developments.
• Perform trend analysis on frequency and severity of claims.
• Lead state and product rate reviews and filings by interpreting bureau rate changes.
• Collaborate with Underwriting, Product Management, Sales, Finance, etc. to support revisions and expansion of offerings.
• Assist in experience analysis, reserve adequacy, and forward-looking drivers to develop reserves and recommendations.
• Develop rating methodologies for existing and new products.
