Job summary

Work At Home Vintage Experts LLC is seeking an experienced Actuarial Analyst for remote assignments supporting insurance carrier clients. You will pricing studies, analyze profitability, conduct trend and reserve analyses, and coordinate with underwriting and finance to refine product offerings.

The role requires strong statistical skills, data manipulation in SAS/SQL/R/Python, and preferably ACAS/FCAS designation. 100% remote, long-term, with benefits and flexible schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, economics, statistics, or related major.
• 25 years of full-time actuarial experience preferred, with commercial lines pricing in Property & Casualty.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pricing studies to evaluate profitability of insurance products.
• Perform competitor analysis to stay updated on pricing and product developments.
• Conduct trend analysis on frequency and severity of claims.
• Lead state and product rate reviews and filings by interpreting rate changes.
• Collaborate with Underwriting, Product Management, Sales, and Finance to expand product offerings.
• Assist in experience analysis, reserve adequacy, and forward-looking drivers.
• Develop rating methodologies for existing and new products.
• Extract and manipulate data in relational databases using SAS/SQL/VBA/Python.
