Qualifications

• Assist with pricing studies to evaluate profitability of products.
• Perform competitor analysis to monitor pricing and product developments.
• Conduct trend analysis on frequency/severity of claims.
• Lead state and product rate reviews and filings by interpreting rate changes.
• Collaborate with Underwriting, Product Management, Sales, Finance to revise offerings.

Responsibilities

• Assist in experience, earnings analysis, reserve adequacy, and forward-looking drivers for reserve recommendations.
• Develop rating methodologies for existing and new products.
• Extract/manipulate data from relational databases and tools to support analyses.
• Apply statistical techniques to address underwriting or claims issues.
