Job summary

Work At Home Vintage Experts LLC is seeking an experienced Actuarial Analyst to support pricing studies, trend analysis, and rating methodology development for commercial lines in a remote, long-term role.

The position requires extensive actuarial experience, including pricing, competitive analysis, and collaboration with underwriting and finance teams. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required, with ACAS/FCAS preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• 25 years of full-time actuarial work experience.
• 10 most current years of actuarial experience with commercial lines pricing in the Property & Casualty sector.
• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, economics, statistics, or related major.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pricing studies to evaluate profitability.
• Perform competitor analysis to monitor pricing and product developments.
• Perform trend analysis to understand frequency/severity of claims.
• Lead state and product rate reviews and filings by interpreting bureau rate changes.
• Collaborate with Underwriting, Product Management, Sales, Finance, etc. to support revisions and expansion of offerings.
• Assess experience, source of earnings analysis, reserve adequacy, and forward-looking drivers.
• Develop rating methodologies for existing and new products.
• Extract and manipulate data in relational databases, SAS, SQL, VBA, R or Python.
