Job summary

Work At Home Vintage Experts LLC is seeking an experienced Actuarial Analyst to support pricing studies, validate profitability, and perform market analyses from a remote home-based setup. The role collaborates across underwriting, product management, and finance to enhance product offerings for commercial lines.

Candidates should bring extensive actuarial experience, with preference for ACAS/FCAS and strong data analytics skills.

Qualifications

• 25 years of full-time work experience in insurance.
• 10 most current years of actuarial experience with commercial lines pricing in P&C.
• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, economics, statistics, or related major.
• ACAS or FCAS designation preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pricing studies to evaluate profitability of insurance products.
• Perform competitor analysis to monitor pricing/product developments.
• Perform trend analysis to understand frequency/severity of claims.
• Lead state and product rate reviews and filings by interpreting bureau changes.
• Collaborate with Underwriting, Product Management, Sales, Finance, etc.
• Assess experience, earnings analysis, reserve adequacy, and forward-looking drivers.
• Develop rating methodologies for existing and new products.
• Extract and manipulate data in relational databases, SAS, SQL, VBA, R or Python.
• Apply statistical techniques to build predictive models for underwriting or claims.
• ACAS or FCAS designation preferred but not required.
