Job summary

Work At Home Vintage Experts LLC is hiring a remote Actuarial Analyst to support pricing studies, competitor analysis, and trend assessments for commercial P&C products. The role requires strong statistical modeling skills and extensive actuarial pricing experience.

Qualifications include 25 years of full-time work history and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field; ACAS/FCAS preferred but not required. Options for full-time or part-time remote work with company benefits are available.

Qualifications

• 25 years of full-time work experience.
• 10+ years of actuarial pricing experience in commercial P&C.
• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, economics, statistics, or related major.
• ACAS or FCAS designation preferred but not required.
• Strong experience with statistical techniques for predictive modeling.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pricing studies to evaluate profitability of insurance products.
• Perform competitor analysis to monitor pricing and product developments.
• Perform trend analysis to understand changes in frequency and severity of claims.
• Lead state and product rate reviews and filings by interpreting bureau rate changes.
• Collaborate with Underwriting, Product Management, Sales, Finance to support revisions.
• Assess experience, source of earnings, reserve adequacy, and forward-looking drivers for reserves.
• Develop rating methodologies for existing and new products.
• Extract/manipulate data in relational databases; SAS/SQL/VBA/R/Python preferred.
• Build predictive models addressing underwriting or claim issues.
