Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to follow up with commercial, government, and other payers to resolve claim payment issues and secure timely reimbursement. This is a remote position with travel to client sites or corporate offices as needed.

The role requires a 2- or 4-year degree, 1+ year in medical collections or AR follow-up, knowledge of the revenue cycle, and strong Excel plus communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2- or 4-year college degree preferred.
• 1+ year in medical collections, AR follow-up, denials & appeals recommended.
• Knowledge of claims review and revenue cycle basics.
• Familiarity with DDE Medicare system and payer websites helpful.
• Strong Excel and verbal communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Follow up with payers to resolve claim payment issues and ensure timely reimbursement.
• Identify reasons for underpayments, denials, and delays; draft and submit appeals.
• Document activity in the client host system with accurate contact details.
• Analyze denials and trends; report to management on root causes.
• Maintain knowledge of federal and state regulations and payer requirements.
