Job summary

Connections Health Solutions is seeking an Accounts Resolution Specialist to ensure proper billing and timely reimbursement. The role requires extensive insurance follow-up, denial management, and strong customer service with a remote work setup across multiple states.

You will interface with patients, insurers, and internal teams, using WAYSTAR and Avatar to manage denials, appeals, and communications. Prior experience in physician/facility billing is highly valued.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 5 years in physician or facility business office.
• 2 years claims follow-up and denial management.
• 1 year remote work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow up daily on accounts to reduce A/R as assigned.
• Validate denied claims and determine resolution (authorization/precert).
• Submit appeal letters and payer documentation via WAYSTAR.
• Prioritize workload to improve collections efficiency.
• Document actions in Avatar and WAYSTAR with standardized notes.
• Communicate opportunities to leadership using SBAR.
