Job summary

Wpromote is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage high-volume client billing, reconciliations, and month-end close. You will work cross-functionally to resolve discrepancies, improve processes, and support accurate financial reporting.

The role requires a strong AR background, NetSuite proficiency, and Excel data analysis skills. Remote-first with in-office hubs in LA/NY offers flexibility and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or a related accounting role.
• Strong understanding of AR processes, client billing, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Experience managing high transaction volumes and independently resolving complex account discrepancies.
• Proficiency with NetSuite or a comparable ERP system.
• Solid Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and cross-functional teams.
• High level of accuracy, accountability, integrity, and discretion when handling confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Managing high-volume client billing, invoice processing, and account maintenance to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Reconciling client accounts, researching discrepancies, and resolving billing issues and short payments.
• Partnering with Client Services and internal Finance teams to address client inquiries and resolve account discrepancies.
• Managing client billing setup and updates to ensure accurate invoicing and account records.
• Supporting month-end close through accurate invoicing, reconciliations and journal entries.
• Identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, strengthen internal controls, and improve AR processes and reporting.
• Maintaining thorough documentation and supporting internal and external audits as needed.
