BH Properties is seeking a Remote Accounts Receivable Accountant to manage AR duties for a diverse portfolio of commercial real estate across the United States, working during Pacific Time business hours.

You will prepare tenant statements, post receipts, maintain COIs, and collaborate with property managers to collect delinquent accounts while ensuring accuracy of rent rolls and reporting.

Qualifications

• Accounting degree required and Latin honors (cum laude or better).
• CPA license required.
• Minimum of 3 years full-time accounting experience.
• Real estate accounting experience is a plus.
• Microsoft Office proficiency, especially Excel and Outlook.

Responsabilités

• Perform all accounting tasks for assigned properties, including billing, tenant statements, posting leases and receipts, processing waivers of late fees, and updating rent rolls.
• Follow up with asset and property managers to collect delinquent accounts.
• Handle accounting processes related to property acquisitions/dispositions.
• Prepare sales tax forms and remit payments.
• Prepare reports for accounting management.
• Complete other projects as assigned by accounting management.
