Job summary

ABC Legal Service is seeking a part-time Accounts Payable Specialist to assist the accounting team with vendor records and timely payments. This remote role is limited to candidates located in Florida, Indiana, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, or Virginia.

You will handle AP workflows, W-9s, and vendor communications, using NetSuite and QuickBooks, with a focus on accuracy and service. Strong data entry, communication, and attention to detail are essential in this fast-paced

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in business or accounting preferred.
• 3-6 months Accounts Payable experience preferred.
• Experience with QuickBooks is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; PDF editors a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the accounts payable workflow using NetSuite and other programs.
• Maintain vendor records for independent contractors, including W-9s.
• Interface with the vendor support team to maintain relationships with new and existing vendors.
• Ensure bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures.
• Trace banking transactions and reconcile general ledger accounts.
