Job summary

SWCA Environmental Consultants is seeking two Accounts Payable Specialists to support the Corporate Office in Phoenix, AZ. This remote (= distributed) role will code and process invoices and employee expense reports, with on-site check runs 1–2 times monthly for Phoenix-area staff.

The position is temporary hourly and non-exempt, with pay based on qualifications and experience. Ideal candidates will have AP experience and strong MS Office skills, and will participate in audits and vendor

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of accounts payable experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills and data entry ability.
• Proficient MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices and code for approval.
• Audit employee expense reports and ensure policy compliance.
• Manage outstanding AP balances and reconcile vendor accounts.
• Assist with payments to vendors and maintain orderly records.
• Support audits with documentation and respond to inquiries.
• Collaborate with internal and external parties to resolve payment issues.
