Job summary

AVIXA is seeking a hands‑on Manager, Accounts Payable who will lead the AP lifecycle, supervise the AP Specialist, and ensure accurate, timely payments for domestic and international vendors. The role requires overseeing invoice review, payment batches, and month‑end close while maintaining strong internal controls.

The ideal candidate brings experience with Concur and multi‑currency payments, plus a track record of optimizing AP processes and reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of progressive accounts payable, accounting, or financial operations experience, including substantial hands‑on responsibility for the full AP lifecycle.
• Minimum two years of formal people‑management experience, including direct responsibility for workload allocation, performance expectations, coaching, performance feedback, and employee development.
• Experience processing domestic and international payments, including payments in foreign currencies, using multiple methods (ACH, wires, checks, virtual cards).
• Experience administering travel and expense management systems and AP controls, reporting, and process improvement.
• Experience with Concur or similar AP automation systems and managing vendor onboarding and 1099 reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own and actively participate in the full accounts payable lifecycle including invoice intake, approval routing, payment batches, and month‑end close support.
• Process domestic and international payments using multiple methods (ACH, wires, checks, virtual cards).
• Oversee AP reconciliations, vendor onboarding, and issue resolution.
• Lead the AP Specialist; balance hands‑on processing with leadership and process improvement.
• Support audit requests and cross‑functional initiatives within Finance & Administration.
