Qualifications

• Requires at least 4+ years AP or related accounting experience with complex invoice/payment resolution.
• Team lead, training, or workflow coordination experience preferred.
• Strong Excel, Outlook, and PDF skills.
• Knowledge of GL, cost centers, accruals, reconciliations, and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Guide daily AP priorities, processes, and deadlines.
• Coach and cross-train team members; serve as go-to resource for complex issues.
• Review high-risk transactions and resolve invoice/payment exceptions.
• Partner with Purchasing, Receiving, Accounting, and vendors to clear discrepancies.
• Maintain SOPs, coding guidance, and training materials.
• Identify process improvements and support system/automation changes.
• Process and review PO/non-PO invoices; prepare payment proposals (ACH, wire, check).
• Reconcile vendor statements and support month-end close, accruals, and aging reviews.
• Monitor AP metrics, enforce controls, and assist with audits.
• Provide backup coverage and handle special projects.
