Cable One is seeking a Lease Accountant to join our finance team. This role focuses on ASC 842 lease accounting, maintaining schedules, and supporting reporting obligations.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in accounting and at least one year of general ledger experience, with ASC 842 knowledge preferred. Remote work options are available for qualified candidates in select states.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• At least 1 year of practical general ledger accounting experience.
• Experience with ASC 842 lease accounting is highly preferred.

Aufgaben

• Maintains lease accounting schedules per ASC 842.
• Understands end-to-end lease accounting processes and controls.
• Prepares weekly/monthly/quarterly analyses and related journal entries.
• Reconciles balance sheet accounts and investigates variances.
• Supports internal and external audit activities, including SOX compliance.
• Completes special projects as directed by department leadership.
• Keeps up-to-date with FASB, SEC and PCAOB standards affecting reporting.
