Job summary

The RMG Group is a family-owned, fully remote accounting and management services firm seeking an experienced accounting/operations leader. You will bring 7+ years of small business accounting experience, oversee multiple teams, mentor staff, and help develop scalable processes for diverse clients.

Ideal candidates have CPA considerations, proficiency with QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, and ERP systems; you will drive client service excellence and growth in a virtual environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years graduated experience in small business accounting operations in multiple industries
• General accounting principles knowledge and application
• Not-for-profit: audits, restricted funds/assets, grants and applications
• Inventory and e-commerce accounting experience
• Compliance including Sales Tax/multi-state
• Real estate (development, multi-entity) and startups
• Technology companies (SaaS) and franchises
• Strong writing and client service orientation

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor teams with multi-team oversight
• Develop and implement accounting processes and workflows
• Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance
• Oversee not-for-profit grants, restricted funds, and allocations
• Manage inventory, real estate and SaaS client engagements
• Collaborate with ERP/Accounting software platforms to integrate tools
