Job summary

The RMG Group is a family-owned, 100% remote accounting-focused firm seeking an experienced Controllership professional for small business and CPG environments. You will own month-end close, revenue and cost accounting, inventory control, and cross-functional collaboration with operations and purchasing.

Qualifications include 7+ years in small business accounting, strong Excel, and hands-on QuickBooks Enterprise (or similar ERP like NetSuite/SAP/Dynamics). CPA candidate a plus.

Qualifications

• 7+ years graduated experience in small business accounting operations in multiple industries, for different company types + sizes.
• Inventory + E-commerce (management and accounting)
• Hands-on with QuickBooks Enterprise (required) plus other ERPs (NetSuite, SAP, Dynamics or similar) are preferred.
• Own month-end close, including inventory and COGS accuracy.
• Support and oversee inventory reconciliations and cycle counts.
• Analyze margins, cost drivers, and production variances.
• Strong Excel for costing and data analysis.
• Degree in accounting, finance or related disciplines; CPA candidate is a plus.
