Job summary

Supporting Strategies is seeking an experienced accounting manager to lead a remote team of client-facing accountants, working daytime hours and avoiding extended in-office weeks. This hands-on role leverages your accounting expertise and client-service management skills to deliver a delightful client experience.

You'll oversee onboarding, mentor staff, balance workloads, and maintain client budgets while using QuickBooks, Bill.com, and other cloud-based tools.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 10 Years of related accounting experience with 4 years of hands-on management experience.
• Capacity to work up to32-35 hours a week during daytime hours supporting clients and team members.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional accounting and operational service to clients.
• Oversee client onboarding processes for assigned engagements.
• Balance workflow by aligning client needs with accountant capacity and budgets.
• Coach and review team members to ensure high-quality service.
• Maintain profit margins for assigned clients and teams.
• Lead annual performance reviews and talent development.
