Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is hiring a Specialist in Accounting for a remote role. The position requires strong knowledge of the full accounting cycle, GAAP, internal controls, and experience with automation and various systems including SAP, PeopleSoft, Costpoint, HFM, ARCS, and CoStar.

The role includes journal entries, reconciliations, reports, and collaboration across teams to improve processes and support audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required with min 4 years of experience; graduate degree with 2 years, else 8 years experience in lieu of degree.
• CPA, CFA, CPP or CMA designation is a plus.
• Strong GAAP knowledge, internal controls, and SOX experience.
• Experience with cost accounting and lease accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations across multiple accounting areas.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Prepare financial reporting schedules and variance analysis.
• Evaluate agreements and data for correct accounting treatment.
• Collaborate across functions to optimize operational processes.
• Support internal and external audit requests.
