Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Specialist, Cost Accounting to join the Program Cost Accounting function in Camden, AR (or Melbourne, FL or Huntsville, AL or remote). The role handles project cost analysis, inventory costing, and cost accounting adjustments using Oracle, with a focus on internal controls and audit readiness.

Schedule is 9/80 with alternating Fridays off. The candidate will prepare complex reconciliations, Hyperion schedules, and ad‑hoc reporting, while supporting audits

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years cost accounting experience; graduate degree with 2+ years.
• In lieu of a degree, 8+ years cost accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs project cost analysis and prepares cost metrics.
• Prepares cost adjustments in Oracle for transfers, intercompany billings, labor corrections and ad-hoc requests.
• Posts cost entries to GL and prepares complex reconciliations including inventory costs.
• Analyzes cost transactions between Inventory and Projects subledgers in Oracle and coordinates with IT.
• Supports monthly Inventory module closing.
• Prepares quarterly income statement flux reports and Hyperion schedules.
• Identifies opportunities for process improvements.
• Supports audits (SOX, external/internal) and ad hoc reporting.
